Hello! I’m Jammes Luckett (pronounced “Jom”), a versatile and experienced voice actor with a passion for bringing characters to life and engaging audiences through the power of voice.
MY RANGE
With a dynamic vocal range and a knack for capturing the essence of any character, I specialize in breathing life into animated films, video games, commercials, audiobooks, and more. I also have experience with ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement). Whether it’s a whimsical creature, a fierce warrior, a quirky sidekick, or a smooth and persuasive narrator, I can deliver the voice you need to make your project truly shine.
My versatile voice allows me to embody a wide range of ages, genders, and accents, enabling me to portray characters from various backgrounds and cultures. Whether it’s a young and energetic hero, a wise and seasoned mentor, or a villain with a sinister edge, a baby or creature… I can adapt my voice to suit a large number of roles and deliver a compelling performance.
I’m also the founder of Art Mechanix, LLC, a studio and imprint that specializes in concepts, development, and production for startups, entrepreneurs, entertainment professionals, and other visionaries. My additional professional experience includes work as a creative and technical writer (yes, I can write/tighten up VO scripts!), film/TV composer, songwriter, producer, audio/music editor, music supervisor, and also a software engineer with a focus on full-stack web development!
BACKGROUND
Like most people, I was drawn to the magic of storytelling at a young age. I eagerly mimicked voices and imitated characters from cartoons and films, along with fascinating people, animals, and object sounds all around me.
I primarily used this skill in musical and stage endeavors for most of my early life. Although animation was one of the areas I studied in college, it still never occurred to me that I could have opportunities to work as a voice actor. It was while working in an early career role as a transcriber at a television production studio that I got my first inkling that my voice might be marketable.
One fateful evening, I happened to answer the phones in the receptionists absence, when an editor passing through and became intrigued by how different my “work phone voice” sounded from my casual speaking voice. Alas, I was never paid or credited for these “favors” and many of the others to follow with other productions but I had a blast working them and it jumpstarted my the professional voice actor portion of my career.

I’ve had the privilege of lending my voice to a wide range of projects, including animation, radio imaging and presentations, live events, e-learning modules, and commercial campaigns. I’ve provided voice over and ADR performances on projects for Bacardi, MGM, the City of Sunset Valley, Michelob Ultra Pure Gold, the Austin Advertising Federation and others. These have given me opportunities to allowing me to further refine my craft and develop a deep understanding of the industry’s demands.
